Childrens Sunday School

Islamic teaching and school classes on sunday.

SCHOOL INFORMATION

The Light of Islam Academy will shortly be starting a new Sunday School to cater for those children who are not able to attend the weekday classes.

We will be running a number of courses, from Qaida class, Quran with Tajwid class, Arabic language class and Urdu class. You may enrol your children onto individual classes if you prefer. For example if you are interested in Urdu or Arabic language only then you need not pay the full fee and your children can attend for only one session.

Our Sunday school endeavours to cover those subjects which are essential to be learnt by all Muslims i.e. the fard ayeen. Unfortunately the fard ayeen which is compulsory to learn are openly being neglected by most Muslims. It is our sincere intention to revive this knowledge within the vicinity of our community. Thus our young students can be example of an excellent knowledge base.

All our subjects are intended to enhance mutual Adaab (etiquettes), a core concept towards Islamic learning and living. The curriculum has been designed to offer our students spiritual, material and moral well being in an interactive and friendly manner.

Classes are taught at a moderate pace, with new concepts introduced at a pace conducive to learning, allowing student’s time to familiarize with the concepts and establish a stronger base in grammar.
